Dr. Tan Wei Xi has extensive experience and an impressive educational background. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, in 2012. Dr. Tan continued her education internationally, achieving the Diploma of Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS RCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019, followed by a Diploma of Membership in Paediatric Dentistry (MPaedDent RCS) in 2021. She also completed her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry from Queen Mary University of London in 2021.
With over 10 years of experience in paediatric dentistry, Dr. Tan currently serves as a Paediatric Dental Specialist at Hospital Sultanah Aminah in Johor Bahru. She previously worked as a Paediatric Dental Specialist at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) in Klang for three years.
Dr. Tan's expertise spans the management of paediatric patients with medical conditions, with a special focus on non-pharmacological and pharmacological behavioural management techniques. Additionally, she has significant experience in dental anomalies, dental trauma, special needs dentistry, and minor oral surgeries.
