Associate Professor Dr. Daniel Lim Khim Hock, a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist in Malaysia, earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the esteemed University of Malaya in 2008. Following graduation, he dedicated several years of service to the Ministry of Health, primarily as a dental officer at the renowned Oral Surgery Clinic within Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru.
Driven by a passion for excellence, Dr. Daniel embarked on advanced studies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Malaya. His commitment and diligence were rewarded with a Master of Clinical Dentistry (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) degree, bestowed upon him with distinction.
Currently, Dr. Daniel wears multiple hats: Associate Professor at the University of Malaya, where he expertly guides both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His research endeavors focus on enhancing patient comfort during minor oral surgical procedures—a testament to his dedication to patient well-being.
Dr. Daniel’s professional interests span a wide spectrum, including dentoalveolar surgery, oral implantology, maxillofacial trauma management, and orthognathic surgery. Beyond academia, he occasionally graces lecture halls, sharing his wealth of knowledge through captivating talks and courses on dental implants and minor oral surgery.
