Dr. Lim Siau Peng holds an undergraduate degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Science Malaysia (USM), where she was also honoured with Dean's List accreditation.Continuing her academic pursuits at the University of Malaya, she successfully earned her Master of Clinical Dentistry (Child Dental Health) degree with a distinction award.

Her outstanding contributions to dental research have garnered recognition from the esteemed International Association of Dental Research (Malaysian Section), earning her the organisation's first prize. In 2023, she published her research in the distinguished European Archives of Paediatric Dentistry.

Actively involved in professional associations, Dr. Lim is a member of the Malaysian Association of Paediatric Dentistry, the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry, and the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Edinburgh.

Her specialised interests include behavioural management, dental traumatology, and dental care for children, especially those with special needs.
